velia.net Internetdienste GmbH operates its own autonomous high speed network. This IP network with its redundant upstream concept and its own peering can operate completely independently of individual suppliers or carriers.
We offer Internet service providers or companies with high IP upstream requirements the option of buying IP upstream, via either BGP4 or static routing, from telecom centres provided by us.
Transfer is usually done via fast Ethernet, gigabit Ethernet or 10GE Ethernet (depending on bandwidth requirements).
velia.net currently offers IP transit on the following terms:
- 100 Mbit full duplex 290.00 EUR per month flatrate
- 1 GBit full duplex 1950.00 EUR per month flatrate
We would be pleased to make you an individual offer based on 95% or volume tariffs with invoicing based on TByte usage.
As a member of RIPE NCC, Amsterdam, the European Regional Internet Registry responsible for administering IP resources within Europe, velia.net can obtain IP resources direct from RIPE and can do so on behalf of its customers.
